The Texas Indian Marker Tree Association was created and founded by Dr. Brian Smith after many years of research, investigating and documenting over 200 marker trees in Texas. The inspiration to know more about the trees left behind once the settlers arrived has left a gap in American history which just now is getting brought to light with this amazing quest to solve the mystery of who, what, where, and why these trees were created and for what purpose.
